Sawmilling
Sawmilling is cutting logs and boards into blanks of the required dimensions. The daily production capacity of the OOO "Zavod Yantarnaya Pryad" (Zavod Yantarnaya Pryad, LLC) plant is about 180 m 3 : logging and selection of timber, sawing and processing of waste.

Wood cutting is carried out at four woodworking sites:
- section of vertical frame sawmills: timber and board (pine, spruce), pallets;
- section for longitudinal sawing and trimming of sawn timber: oak board and frieze;
- section of horizontal band sawmill frames: unedged and semi-edged boards (oak), unedged carriage;
- section of a vertical band sawmill: unedged and semi-edged oak board, unedged carriage, oak board and frieze.
Unit equipment:
- Miter saws A Costa, Omga - 12 pcs.;
- Band saws - 3 pcs.;
- Multi-saws A Costa, RAIMANN - 4 pcs.;
- Frame type saws "63" - 2 pcs.;
- Vertical band sawmill Primultini 1300 - 1 pc.;
- Omga optimization line - 1 piece;
- Weinig Raiman automated edge trimmers.
The department produces:
- blank for a massive board;
- blank for three-layer parquet;
- parquet preparation;
- lumber (edged board (spruce, linden, aspen), pallets, pallets, lining, sleepers, moldings, firewood, wood chips).
