Firewood - split in the longitudinal direction into several parts, segments 30-60 cm long of tree trunks with bark. Firewood is sorted and culled (no mold, fungus or dirt) and can only be used as fuel. According to the calorific value, firewood is divided into 3 groups:
1. birch, larch;

3. spruce, aspen, linden, poplar.

1. homogeneous (from woodrocks of one group according to calorific value);

By humidity:
1. Natural humidity. A felled tree contains up to 50% moisture.
2. dried - 25-30%. Stored in stacked rows in woodpile under a canopy.
3. dry (chamber drying) - 12% -16%. Wood is stored in warm and dry warehouses with a certain temperature regime.
Delivery type:
1. Firewood shaft. After laying, the volume is reduced by approximately 15%-20%. Logs are not sorted by quality.
2. Firewood in stacking. They are delivered tightly packed in the back of a car, which is convenient for determining the amount of firewood.
3. Firewood packaged in nets. Packed manually, which allows better sorting of defective logs. Firewood in nets is convenient for determining their quantity, unloading, storing and further use. In one cube up to 35 grids.
