The OOO "Zavod Yantarnaya Pryad" (Zavod Yantarnaya Pryad, LLC) plant uses the most modern technologies in the production of wooden products.
Wood, as a material, is very sensitive to temperature changes, mechanical loads and the percentage of moisture in the air. In order to increase resistance to various influences and ensure a long service life of products, wood products are finished with UV curing at the factory.

The productivity of the automatic line with painting and UV curing is about 8000m 2 /month.
Features of UV Curing
The OOO "Zavod Yantarnaya Pryad" (Zavod Yantarnaya Pryad, LLC) plant has modern roller lines for applying varnish coatings. On these lines, the technological process of curing the protective coating under the influence of UV rays with a wavelength of 200 to 450 mm is carried out.
Factory varnishing technology using a UV curing painting line, or simply a UV line, eliminates manual application defects and allows you to achieve "furniture" quality. Lacquer on such parquet is applied in special vacuum chambers by mechanical airless spraying and polymerized by ultraviolet or electron beam irradiation.
With the help of varnishes and oil-wax coatings with ultraviolet (UV) curing, a perfectly even distribution of toning over the entire surface of the wood is achieved. This is a guarantee of high quality of the product and increases its durability.
It is also important that the production is environmentally friendly, since no solvents for varnishes are used.
Mandatory control of each batch
After the application of the varnish coating is completed, the product undergoes several types of tests:
- To avoid interlacquer delamination, an adhesive strength test is carried out (adhesion of surfaces of dissimilar solid and / or liquid bodies).
- When tested for abrasion, the sample withstands several cycles of processing with special abrasive materials.
- The impact test is necessary to check the elasticity of the coating. With a point effect of a load that falls on the surface from a certain height, there should be no cracking of the varnish and opening of interlacquer layers.
